Welcome to the West Coast’s premier pageant system—a 40-year legacy dedicated to more than just a crown. Directed by the award-winning Tara Rice, the Miss West Coast & California United States Pageant is a “double crowning” event that serves as a prestigious preliminary to the United States National Pageants in Las Vegas.

Our Mission

We believe in the power of a platform. Our system is designed to celebrate intelligent, service-minded women from all walks of life. We focus on:

  • Community Advocacy: Every titleholder champions a personal cause, using her voice to create meaningful change.
  • Self-Development: We provide free professional coaching, public speaking training, and leadership workshops to ensure every contestant grows in confidence.
  • Career Opportunity: With a focus on the entertainment industry, our winners receive modeling and talent agency contracts, photo shoots, and red-carpet appearances.

Divisions for Every Stage of Life

From our youngest stars to our accomplished professionals, we offer eight competitive divisions:

  1. Princess: Ages 4–7
  2. Little Miss: Ages 8–9
  3. Pre-Teen: Ages 10–12
  4. Jr. Teen: Ages 13–15
  5. Teen: Ages 16–17
  6. Miss: Ages 20–29

Ms. / Ms. Woman: Ages 25+ (Single, Divorced, or Widowed)

Mrs.: Married Women balancing family, career, and service.

Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

The spotlight will shine brightly on aspiring young leaders, role models, and changemakers as the prestigious Miss West Coast Pageant returns for another inspiring celebration of beauty, confidence, leadership, and community service.

Far more than a traditional pageant, Miss West Coast has established itself as a platform dedicated to empowering girls and women to become confident leaders in their communities. Participants are recognized not only for their poise and stage presence but also for their educational achievements, charitable involvement, leadership skills, and dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

The event brings together contestants from various age groups, along with families, community leaders, sponsors, media representatives, photographers, and distinguished guests, creating an atmosphere filled with inspiration, opportunity, and celebration.

One of the highlights of the day is the highly anticipated Official Red Carpet Experience, where contestants, titleholders, judges, sponsors, and special guests are welcomed in true Hollywood fashion. The red carpet offers attendees the opportunity to meet influential community leaders, capture memorable moments, and celebrate the accomplishments of the participants throughout the day.

Beyond the competition itself, the Miss West Coast organization proudly supports charitable causes that positively impact local communities. Among the organizations benefiting from the pageant’s ongoing efforts are Operation Blankets of Love and Food on Foot, both of which provide essential assistance to individuals and families in need.

“Pageantry is about much more than crowns and titles,” explains Tara Rice, Founder of Miss West Coast Productions, Inc. and Co-National Director of the United States Pageants. “Our mission is to provide girls and women with opportunities to develop confidence, leadership abilities, communication skills, and community awareness that will benefit them throughout their lives.”

Under Tara Rice’s leadership, Miss West Coast has become a respected platform that encourages participants to pursue excellence both on and off the stage. Contestants gain valuable life experiences through public speaking, community service initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and personal development programs designed to prepare them for future success.
