Internship
We’re searching for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the narrative and emotional impact of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with directors, producers, and cinematographers to understand the vision for each project.
- Assemble raw footage into compelling sequences and stories.
- Make creative decisions about pacing, rhythm, and shot selection.
- Utilize editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer) to edit, synchronize, and color-correct footage.
- Add sound effects, music, and dialogue to enhance the storytelling.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Provide constructive feedback and revisions during the editing process.
- Maintain a well-organized editing workflow and archive project files effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest editing techniques and software advancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Proven track record of editing
- Strong understanding of narrative structure and storytelling techniques.
- Excellent technical skills in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer or Corel Video Studio).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve a plus.
